The Information and Referral (I&R) program is a way to connect people to a variety of services to help meet the needs of older adults and their families and to provide information on many topics from Alzheimer's Disease to Home-Delivered Meals.


Oftentimes, when people are uncertain about what is available for them, or even what they really need, they are able to describe what is happening to them and by talking with a caring I&R specialist, they can get the information they need or be referred to someone who can best suit their individual situation.


I&R specialists at the community level, help callers find out what they need and then find the best way to get help or determine whether a caller may be eligible for certain programs and provide extra help when needed. With the right information older adults and their families can often solve their problems and improve their lives!
